Board rules
A place for people who create things with love. To keep it that way, clear rules apply to exchange, help and moderation.
In short
Friendly, helpful, factual and craft-focused.
The Maker Community is not an anonymous comment section, not a support ticket system and not a battleground for transactions. It is a shared space for creatives, customers, shop owners, small businesses and people who want to learn from each other.
Help concretely instead of getting loud
Good answers explain, show examples and stay on topic. Criticism is welcome when it is factual and genuinely helps the other person.
No transaction discussions
Discussions about specific orders, payments, refunds, shipping cases, invoices, or conflicts with buyers or sellers do not belong in the board.
Support cases belong in support
Anything related to account, order, payment, payout, technical errors, individual legal cases or private data must go through the help center, contact or the appropriate account/seller area.
Don't post private data
Do not publish addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, order numbers, payment details, tracking numbers, invoices, screenshots with personal data or confidential messages.
No aggressive sales space
You may show your work, but the board is not a hawking channel. No spam, no link floods, no mass discount codes, no manipulative reviews and no constantly repeated self-promotion.
Quality over quantity
Posts should provide real value: a question, experience, guide, project, material knowledge, shop setup or inspiration. Pure placeholders, copy-paste posts and AI slop will be removed.
Stay on the category's topic
Use the right category and meaningful titles. Product sales, general politics, contentious topics without a maker context and subjects outside of craft, creativity, learning or shop building do not fit the board.
Respect copyrights
Only post content, images, templates and guides that you're allowed to share. Credit inspirations, do not copy others' texts or designs and cite sources when they matter.
Keep feedback fair
Feedback on photos, prices, products or shops should be helpful and respectful. No public shaming, no review pressure, no calls against individual people or shops.
Report instead of escalate
If a post violates the rules, report it. Public quarrel chains, counterattacks and pillory discussions make the community worse and will be moderated.
Moderation protects the space
Moderators can move, hide, close, flag or remove content. In cases of serious or repeated violations, community rights may be restricted.
Important
What doesn't belong in the board
- Specific orders, payments, refunds, payouts or invoices.
- Disputes between buyers and sellers or public complaint threads.
- Private data, support tickets, account problems or security-relevant information.
- Legal advice on individual cases, cease-and-desist letters, tax questions or platform decisions.
